About Deka Lake

Deka Lake is located in the South Cariboo area of the Cariboo Chilcotin Coast Region of British Columbia. Deka Lake is situated about 46km east of 100 Mile House.

The Deka Lake subdivision was originally developed in the early 1970s with promises of full utility services including community septic and water systems. The lots were marketed at the time using newspaper ads and many 0.5 acre parcels were sold for around $1500.00 at the time. Fourty-years later, everyone is still using wells and septic systems.

Deka Lake offers waterskiing, tubing and fishing as well as fantastic winter ice fishing. Rainbow, Kokanne, Burbot as well as Lake Trout are in abundance, so come and launch your boat at one of the many public boat launches.
